Ben Benedict

Ben is the current boyfriend of Vivian Brown. He was first introduced in the comic series My Girlfriend Tania, created for Amazonias.Net.

Friendship with Tim and Tania

Ben was a bit nerdy at school and dressed like father, including a bow tie, which looked strange for a teenager and due to that he became fodder for bullyiing. He became friends with a boy his class who liked Ben's eccentricity and who liked most of the nerdy things he did, science fiction, dinosaurs, role playing games, video games, etc. Ben and Tim Richards became close friends and Tim would often stand up to bullies to protect Ben, even though Tim was in fact much smaller, but what he lacked in size he made up with guts.

Guts however did not prevent them to get beat up, and when one time two big older bullies were threatening Ben and Tim rushed in to help, they were both drastically outmatched and were soon about to be beat up to a pulp, when at the last second Tania Brown intervened, lifted both bullies over her head and tossed them aside like bags of trash. She had seen the little guy rush to save his friend and that impressed her. Tania became friends with Ben and Tim, mostly acting as Tim's protector all through high school, and of course this protection extended to Ben as well. Every bully in school knew Tania was their friend and they all knew better than to cross the powerful amazon.

Misunderstanding with Mindy

Soon after high school Ben attended a short management workshop. He wanted to take a few classes before starting college to see if that was the career for him. The students were paired alphabetically by last name for an assignment and he was partnered with, Mindy Banks, who was taking that class to make her CV more attractive to apply to a manager position at her job. Mindy invited Ben to her apartment and he completely misread the situation and made some advances which she immediately shut down in a very direct way. Ben spent the rest of the evening apologizing. They finished the assignment and turned it in the next day. After the workshop ended each went on their separate ways and have not met since.

Double Date

Tania and Tim set Ben with Tania's older sister, Vivian. Ben, who had recently turned 19 years old was hesitant to date a woman six years older than he, but since Tim and Tania had been were such good friends with him all through high school, he agreed to meet. Tania and Tim went on a double date with Vivian and Ben, and the evening went very well. After one night together they hit it off and have been together for close to six months and thing seem to be going very well for the two of them.

Ben does not know, Vivian is friends with Mindy and now they are officially a couple, its just a matter of time before their paths cross again.
