Rose Dumont

1142_Rose Dumont_02_Thank you Rose Dumont is a young French immigrant who has lived in Key Lake City since she was 18 years old and is a founding member of the Alpha Taskforce response unit, part of the Key Lake Security Forces. She is best known for having been one of the combatants at the Silent Port bay battle where she saved the life of hundreds of people by holding up a collapsing building long enough for its evacuation.

She is registered at the Key Lake City Metahuman Registry as an Alpha Class Metahuman, which means she has lived a considerable portion of her life as a normal person before developing her superhuman abilities.

BACKSTORY

Early Life

201812081522_Rose and familyRose was born in Paris, France and is the youngest child of Claude and Monique Monier, a respected surgeon and a movie star respectively. She has two older twin brothers, Maurice and Leon who are six years younger than her.

Since early childhood Rose was taught to behave and carry herself as part of France’s high society. Her father’s wealth gave her everything she could ever want as a child and her mom’s high profile gained her access to the most exclusive places in the city. They were invited to the most exclusive parties in Europe.

Rose had been born with a latent gene which is very rare in the world’s population; about one in one hundred thousand. That Metahuman gene sequence give Rose a very high potential to develop extraordinary abilities and since it is dormant at birth she is categorized as a “Dormant Alpha Metahuman” Even though her possible super-human characteristics are suppressed, she exhibits some physical traits which are above the average human.

She has displayed great affinity for gymnastics and she is the fastest girl at school. She has won first place medals in many school Olympics and has competed at a national level, winning every time. What surprised everyone is that she was naturally fast and she had not done much training to defeat all other students by a considerable margin.

Rose before transformation modeling Her body has always been slim and strong, with a light muscle definition which made her very strong for her age although well within teenager parameters. She also possessed eyesight and hearing above the norm and could swim twice as fast and hold her breath almost twice as long as all other kids her age.

She displayed from early on a great level of emotional intelligence, always knowing what to say to make people happy and special sense to know when someone around her was in pain, even if that person tried hard to hide it.

When Rose was sixteen, her mom got her a small part in a romantic comedy. Her role was small; just a couple of scenes at a beach.  Her part was meant to be funny but the effect it had on the viewers was much different. Her beautiful small yet curvy body and indescribable charm stole the scene and she became an instant hit. She was immediately popular with the French teenagers and it didn’t take long for her to get hundreds of modeling offers throughout Europe. By the time she became 17 years old she was one of the most recognizable teenagers in all of France with her face in billboards, magazines, TV commercials, etc.

Key Lake City

Rose’s favorite past time since she was very young was the study of rocks, crystals and gems. It was seeing her mother’s jewelry with such varied assortment of stones like Diamonds, emeralds, sapphires, rubies, etc. She began collecting rocks she found interesting and pretty and in a few years she had quite a collection. Rose not only collected them; she also tried to learn all about them.

When she finished high school, the choice of careers for her was obvious; she decided to become a geologist. After much searching, Rose found the university with the best geology program in the world was Elena Anderson University at Key Lake City. She talked it over with her parents and with their blessing she applied and was granted a full scholarship because of her grades and an aptitude test which she beat with a perfect score. Three months later Rose arrives at Key Lake City.

201812071004_Rose meeting ScottShe arrives at the apartment she had rented, gets the key from the manager and gets settled in. She needed help to get all her things up the stairs to the third floor; fortunately a young student approached her and offered to help. He accompanies her to the third floor carrying one of Rose’s suitcases and a very heavy box. When they reach Rose’s door the young man told her the room across the hall from her is his apartment.

They go inside her apartment and he puts her things inside. He jokingly asks her if what she has in the box are rocks; she smiles and tells him they in fact are rocks. Before leaving the girl’s apartment, the young man introduces himself as Scott Anderson. The two have a short chat after which Scott leaves Rose by herself to get settled in peace.

Rose and Scott would develop a strong friendship over the next few years in which they shared many great moments together but did not become romantically involved. Both developed strong feelings for one another but Scott was at first too shy to confess her feelings and just when he was about to, Rose began to date another student who had been to France and recognized her from the movie she was on. Their relationship lasted well over a year but was ultimately broken when she discovered he was being unfaithful.

Three years into her studies Rose got a job at the geology lab under Doctor Diana Romanova, an accomplished scientist from Russia. Diana and Rose have a great working relationship and a powerful friendship, which has ventured into brief romantic adventures.

Rose found the Russian blonde extremely beautiful and with a very strong personality which made her feel drawn to Diana. Her boss on the other hand was smitten by the young woman’s charm and beauty, her delicate nature and how her beautiful green eyes sparkled under the light.

After a few months of casual flirting between the two, they hooked up one Friday evening and spent the night together.

Transformation Event

One evening Rose was returning home from a field trip where she had collected a few rocks for her growing collection. As she was driving on the highway she witnesses a meteor shower. She would later find out it was the remains of a large asteroid which had been destroyed by missiles sent from earth from several countries (USA, Russia, China, France and many others). The missile attack was successful in deflecting the planer-killer, but a good portion was shattered with large chunks falling towards the ground.

Rose sees one of the meteorites is going to fall not far in front of her, so she stops her car but sees the car in front is not stopping. She hits the horn many times but is unable to get the attention of the driver in front. At the last minute she ducks down just as the meteorite hits the ground, making her car bounce. She sees a powerful flash of light above her and she remains hidden until the flash is over.

When she feels it’s safe, she sits up once more and looks outside. She sees the large glowing meteor ahead and the car in front of her had veered out of the highway and was to the side, having hit the railing. Rose stepped out of her car and began to walk to the car to see if the driver was alright. As she got close she noticed the driver was a long haired woman who seemed was dizzy from the impact. Rose didn’t get the chance to get much closer to the woman because the driver turned her car on and drove off.

Rose returned to her car and on the way she sees a chunk of the meteor on the bonnet of her car. She sees the mineral and is immediately drawn to it. The geologist in her was very curious and wanted to put that piece of space debris under a microscope and run all types of tests in it. First Rose takes her Geiger counter and tests the rock on the spot to see if it was safe to handle and when the machine did not detect any radiation Rose eagerly picked up the hot rock with a pair of heavy gloves and places it along with the rest of her collection.

Unbeknown to Rose, the rock was indeed emitting radiation, but it was in a spectrum her basic field equipment did not detect. Over time, that radiation would have been lethal to the young woman however Rose’s metahuman genes protected her; still, the radiation taxed her body to extreme conditions and her dormant genes became active.

Her transformation took place when she was walking home from the university. She suddenly felt very dizzy and had to sit down. She sat on a park resting against a tree and lost consciousness. She woke up hours later feeling her body on fire. She stood up, still very dizzy and began to walk to her place. With every step she took found her clothes feeling tighter and tighter until it began to rip down the seams and fall on the ground. Her shoes split open and crumbled under her feet. As she continued to walk she saw the people and buildings becoming smaller around her. Rose began to panic when almost all her clothes had been ripped off her body and was only in her tight underwear which felt it was also son to rip apart. The girl began to run, faster and faster trying to get home before many people see her like this. She did not realize how fast she was running, but to everyone else she became a tan color streak that zoomed by causing strong winds in her wake. To her, she was running as she normally has but she did notice everyone around seemed to be moving very slowly.

Discovering her new self.

Rose found it difficult to accept her change but found she loved her new body much more than her previous petite self. She noticed everything was more vibrant, every sensation more clear and sharper. Sounds are crisper, scents more aromatic, flavors are more intense, colors are more vibrant and with greater depth of values and she could see greater levels of detail and every sensation of touch was much more intense with.

She felt much stronger and capable than before and more brash than before. She acted on impulse and on her very first night in her new body she asked Scott to take her to see underground cage fights. He took her to one that very evening and she felt excited seeing the combatants. When the last fight of the evening was canceled because one of the fighters was ill, Rose stood up and asked to challenge the fighter. She removed her coat and revealed she had a boxing outfit on. The male fighter initially declined because Rose was a woman but cheering from the crowd made him change his mind. The fact she was much taller than him helped convince him to accept the fight.

The bell rang, and both combatants fought, and the first point went to the fighter. Rose was stronger and potentially faster but inexperienced, leaving herself open for attacks and telegraphing her moves to where he was able to dodge. His blow landed on her chiseled abs, which even with his glove hurt his hand as if he had hit a brick wall. Rose was surprised, having expected his blow to hurt at least a little but she hardly felt anything. In fact, Rose believed the punch didn’t hurt because he was holding back, thinking of her as just a girl. Rose got very mad believing she was not being taken seriously. The man clutched his hand fearing he had broken a finger; this gave Rose an opening to land one straight punch to his face fueled by her anger. The man was thrown up and back against the ropes, bouncing back towards her, smacking his body against her larger form. The man’s body hit Rose’s very hard, resulting in one broken leg, three cracked ribs and a broken clavicle. Before that, her punch had dislocated his jaw, broken his front teeth, nose and cracked one of his cheekbones.

After the incident she realized she was way too strong to fight other people and threw away her gloves. She was ashamed of what she did to him for sport so the next day she found where the man had been taken and went to visit him at the hospital.

At the hospital she stayed by his room for many hours while he was taken from intensive care to a room. She waited until he woke up many hours later. She promised him to help him in any way she could for his recovery assuring him and his family present she will take care of all the expenses. The man’s family was hostile to her at first but it didn’t take long for Rose’s good nature and honest repentance for her actions won them over; except for one person.

The man’s sister was present and became enraged that the person who put him in the hospital in such a humiliating way had the audacity to show her face there. She had nothing less than hatred for Rose and wanted nothing more than to rip her to pieces with her bare hands. No one there knew the woman was a very high ranked freelance assassin who goes by the name of Mantis and she has killed hundreds of marks with her martial arts mastery and considerable strength, product of years of intense training.

Mantis ambushed Rose on her way out of the hospital, pulling the larger woman into a storage room so suddenly the French Amazon did not have time to react. Mantis’s initial attack was savage and unpredictable. Mantis swept Rose’s feet from under her, causing the larger woman to fall on her ass. Before she had a chance to react, Mantis had begun kicking Rose in the face. Her tennis shoes slammed against Rose’s face with all her strength. Each blow hurt Mantis who ignored the pain and continued to kick the larger woman. Rose did not feel pain but the relentless attack disoriented her. After the fifth kick, both women heard something breaking in Mantis’s foot. Finally the woman screamed from the accumulated pain. The enraged assassin did not give up and threw herself on top of Rose, reaching for her throat and squeezing it with all her strength.

Rose finally was able to swat her away, throwing the woman across the storage room, slamming her against the wall. Mantis crashed on some shelves and fell to the ground unconscious, with the shelves collapsing on top of her. Rose knelt down next to her and checked her pulse. She was relieved when she noticed the woman was alive and breathing. She exits the storage room and calls out for a nearby nurse. She tells her there is an injured woman in the storage room and when the go back in Mantis was nowhere to be found. The assassin had slipped away undetected even with a broken foot.

Rose and Diana

Rose confided in two people regarding what happened to her and how she gained her new body; those two close friends were her boss Diana and neighbor Scott. Rose brought the meteor fragment to the lab to show Diana and with her help detected the rock was in fact radioactive and the emissions were in a spectrum her equipment was unable to detect. They decided to leave the rock in the lab safely inside a shielded container. That night they went out for drinks and spent the night together again, but this time it was Diana who was the small one next to Rose.

After experiencing up close the amazing new body Rose now has, Diana decided she wanted that for herself as well. For over a week, Diana would take the stone from the container late at night, take it home with her and place it back in the morning before Rose arrives at the lab. One day when Rose was alone in the lab, Scott came in for a visit along with an acquaintance, a physics professor who had treated a woman who only days before had gone through a similar transformation. Rose told him about the rock and how the exposure to its unique radiation had transformed her. After listening to her tale the professor told Rose that his patient had been exposed to a potent flash of radiation, one massive single exposure; however his studies showed the radiation was not responsible for her abilities; it just awoke what had always been inside her.

The doctor also told Rose that her prolonged exposure to the much smaller radiation source is what caused her transformation to be slower over time. While his patient changed in a period of 24 hours, Rose took a full week to transform. He also warned her that the radiation is aggressive and the only reason she is alive is her “Alpha” genes protected her. Anyone without those rare genes would certainly die under that level of exposure. He added that there had been other fifty recorded people exposed to the meteors and all except her had died of severe cellular decay.

Rose assured the fragment was in a safe location in a shielded container. She turns towards the transparent case and notices the stone is not there. The three become worried the radioactive rock could be out in the open but they did not find it in the lab. Rose then realizes, Diana is not there and maybe she took it. Rose takes the container and rushes out to Diana’s home. Scott drove to Diana’s home with the professor while Rose made her way on foot, arriving to her house 10 minutes before them.

Rose finds his friend unconscious on her bed with the stone on the pillow next to her. Rose puts the stone away in a lead container and tends to her friend. Diana awakens six hours later and finds the three of them inside her home. They explain the situation to her, how she could have died. Diana was very disappointed her body did not transform like Rose’s.

Next morning Rose and Scott come over Diana are with Diana when her powers manifest. It turns out she did have the metahuman gene and the radiation triggered it, allowing her to grow her body for a short time into virtually any size. Her power manifested when inside a gas station store quickly filling the whole space inside with her body and finally crashing through it becoming as tall as a 100 story building.

Diana and Rose again hooked up, this time with Diana returning to the role of the larger top. The next morning at the lab Diana asks Rose if she ever thought about spicing things up. Diana suggested they experimented a bit asking Scott to join them in a threesome. Diana found the guy attractive and figured the only way to play with his was along with Rose.

The three met in Diana’s home and spent the entire night pleasuring each other. Scott couldn’t believe his luck, getting the chance to experience the bodies of the world’s two hottest women.

By midnight he was completely spent, and his body felt really sore. He watched the two women pleasure each other until morning in the most intense love-making he had ever seen. It was clear to him both women had incredible endurance and were way out of his league.

Security Forces and the ATF

Rose adjusted to her new life and continued her studies at the university. One year after Rose’s change the Key Lake City Metahuman volunteer Registry is established to allow people with extraordinary abilities to enroll and be on call in case of an event or situation that might require their help. Rose was eager to sign up and was one of their first recruits. Rose continued her studies normally; occasionally being called upon to lend a hand in situations where someone with her strength is needed to save lives. She was occasionally paired with a police officer to patrol areas of the city which were too dangerous for regular law enforcement. Rose enjoyed these missions since they gave her a sense of using her gifts for the greater good.

Two years later Rose graduates with top honors and a 4.0 average. By this time, Rose and Scott had begun a formal relationship and were very much in love. Rose was also spending some nights with Diana, a situation which Scott was very aware of and respected, especially since every so often he is invited to join in the fun.

Shortly before her graduation Rose is approached by a recruitment officer for the Key Lake City Security Forces. They tell her they are very pleased with the help she has been giving the force in the volunteer program and would love to have her in a more permanent capacity as an agent. They offer her a position in the geological survey department of the city and resources to do all the research she wants.

Rose accepts and is set to begin her boot camp shortly. She is surprised to find that Scott had enrolled when he learned she had. He was eager to be by her side and protect her in any way she could. She was happy her was there and did her best to excel in everything and also in helping him get through it as well.

Rose discovers she is not the only metahuman recruit, meeting Jane Cortez. The two powerful women became friends, having good chemistry between them. After boot camp, Rose and Jane were selected for field duty while Scott was sent to the cyber unit, training to become an expert in cyberspace counter terrorism.

In her time with the Security Forces she was sent along with Jane in a special unit to take down a very dangerous terrorist group that had set up base on the slums behind the city, a section of the city known as No Man’s Land. In that unit Rose will meet people like Master Engineer Wolf Westcott, Field Medic Pamela Anderson, Master Marksman Dead-Eye, and Field Commander Ronald Gallagher, among others. It’s on this mission Rose consciously takes a life for the first time and is affected by how violently her victim’s body was destroyed by her. At the end of the battle, No Man’s Land was cleared of all terrorist forces at the cost of 40% of the security force. Wolf and the commander are injured severely and is through Doctor Pam’s efforts and special abilities they are saved. She is also responsible for saving the life of other 200 agents during the campaign.

Soon after the campaign is over, the security force is shaken by the complete slaughter of an entire squad of agents from the Vice division. All agents were executed by a crime lord’s two metahuman bodyguards with the exception of one, who was in critical condition in the ICU.

The squad is disbanded with some of the members retiring and others being sent to other assignments. The doctor quits the force, deeply affected by what she has seen. Her last action as part of the security force was the healing of the survivor’s more severe injuries.

The former commander of Rose’s squad was given the task to for a new special unit with the explicit mission to engage metahuman criminals and bring them to justice. The injuries he received kept him from ever participating in field operations and was given administrative control of the new taskforce. He recruited Rose and Jane for the new team as well as Wolf, who would act as temporary field commander.

Scott learned of this new Taskforce and requested to be transferred. He argued they will need someone with IT experience, and he had become a computer expert during the last years. He wanted to be in the field with Rose and felt left behind. Scott’s request was denied but he was later accepted when Rose presented her resignation from the Security Forces if Scott was not let into the team. Rose’s value as an asset for the force was too great and they had no choice but to accept Scott. He was told the reason for his acceptance and that left him with the need to prove his worth.

The four team members were joined by a third metahuman who volunteered, Laura Jensen. She was the niece of one of the agents who were crushed by the two metahuman bodyguards and wanted justice for her late uncle. The last member of the team was no other than the man who was in a coma, John Newman. After his recovery he was discharged from the infirmary and returned to active duty, moment when he was asked to lead the team as field commander.

The top brass named the team the “Alpha Task Force” since half the team was made up of Alpha Metahumans. The ATF went out in a few small missions like stopping robberies and raiding low level illegal weapon depos with great success. The team was a bit disorganized with two of its members having no field experience.

Battle at Silent Port Bay

The moment the ATF had been waiting for came about when DeeDee and Stacy Wong raided a bank located in the Silent Port Bay Boardwalk. DeeDee had ripped the entire vault and was carrying it over her head with one arm, trampling over anyone foolish to get on her way. Stacy remained at the bank having fun slaughtering everyone inside.

The ATF arrived at the scene and confronted the two criminals. Jane and Laura attacked DeeDee while Rose engaged Stacy. Wolf gave air support while the John and Scott were to crowd control and get as many people as they could to safety. The commander ordered Scott to not engage the metahumans directly.

This was the first time the ATF Alphas had fought another metahuman and were not prepared for the confrontation. Jane became overconfident when DeeDee punched her in the stomach with a blow so powerful it shattered every glass window over ten blocks away and shook the ground like an earthquake. Jane was prepared for the blow and had planted herself well and DeeDee’s punch didn’t even faze her. Jane backhanded DeeDee and for the first time the criminal juggernaut felt pain and thrown back landing on her ass. Jane came in to hit her again but DeeDee outsmarted her and jumped over her, landing behind Jane and before the larger woman could react, DeeDee lifted Jane’s massive body and tossed her miles away to the ocean. Jane’s body was too dense to swim so all she could do is hold her breath, wait until reaching the ocean floor and then walk back to shore. Once the ATF’s powerhouse was temporarily out of the picture, DeeDee centered her sights on Laura who she eagerly proceeded to beat mercilessly and eventually rape on the boardwalk in view of everyone.

On the other side of the fight, Rose and Stacy were evenly matched. Stacy was stronger, but Rose was faster, so the French amazon did her best to avoid most of Stacy’s devastating punches, relying on her keen reflexes and agility.

It seemed Rose had the upper hand but when Stacy began slaughtering people by the dozens to cause Rose to lose her concentration the scales turned to Stacy. Eventually Stacy grabbed hold of Rose and tossed her into an apartment building. Rose’s body crashed through a good part of the bottom of the building leaving a huge hole where one of the main support beams was.

The building began to tip over and was about to collapse with all the people inside. Rose reacted quickly and got under the remains of the column and with all her strength tried to keep the building from collapsing. Stacy took advantage and began to punch and kick Rose, who held her ground and took all the blows without letting go of the building. Everyone around saw Rose struggling to keep the building up as people desperately tried to evacuate. TV news cameras captured the image of the French Amazon taking punches so violent the whole ground shook screaming from the pain after each one and using the last ounce of her strength to keep it from falling.

Scott tried to help Rose jumping on Stacy from behind onto her shoulders and shooting all the bullets in his gun into her eyes and ears. The point blank shots blinded Stacy briefly and the shots into her ears got her dizzy. Scott was tossed back and after hitting the ground got on his feet as fast as he could and began to run away but Stacy had recovered and was much faster than him. She beat him up to the edge of death right in front of Rose and she couldn’t do anything to stop her because there were still hundreds of people inside the building running down the stairs.

By the time Jane made it back, both DeeDee and Stacy had left taking the stolen money. The ATF had two members severely injured, hundreds of civilian dead and at least 2 city blocks had been leveled during the battle.
