Leyla Anderson

Leyla is the eighth child of Hope Leap and Bob Anderson, a very large and extremely powerful Usagimimi woman and a regular human man. She was born between her sisters Tamara and Gina. She is currently a student at Kevin Lea Leap High School and, by a clear margin, the most intelligent member of the family.

BACKSTORY

Leyla was born about 17 years ago, in the middle of the hardest period her family has known. The year before she was born, the bank where her father worked as branch manager had closed. Bob couldn't find a job and with seven children to feed and one on the way, he suffered a stress-related collapse and could not work for three years, and when he finally did it was as a bank teller earning a fraction of what he used to. To save money on food, Leyla's mother kept the family fed using her nearly endless supply of nutrient rich milk, nursing and husband. Leyla as a baby was voracious, and she remains that way even to this date, and at one year old would drink more of her mother's milk in one sitting than her father could drink in a week.

Leyla nursed until about the time she started school, beside her sister Tamara, born a year earlier, for the first years, which is part of why the two see each other as nearly the same age. Her mind was running ahead of her age long before she could ask for what it wanted, and with no money for toys, the free thing in the house was books, and she read anything she could get her hands on.

Leyla and Tamara have been close since they were small, partners in childhood mischief and shared troublemaking, and the two of them still see each other as something closer to the same age despite Tamara being taller and bigger than her. They share a bookish streak too, both drawn to learning for its own sake, though Tamara doesn't have Leyla's raw reasoning ability even if she matches her memory. As infants, Leyla and Tamara were allowed to the edge of Ray's crib to watch over him under Hope's supervision, permitted to play with baby Gina but forbidden from touching Ray himself for fear of hurting him, a restriction that didn't lift until both girls turned five and their parents trusted they had enough control.

In the shenanigans she shared with Tamara, Leyla was usually the one with the plan. She could work out how to get what the two of them wanted, and Tamara, trusting and game for anything, went along with it, which is how the pair kept dragging each other into trouble.

Leyla was also part of the pack of young kids that grew up together with Gina, Ray and Skipper, who are only a little younger than her, and the four spent a lot of their early childhood playing together. Ray, the family's one regular child, gravitated toward Skipper over Gina or Leyla for the simple reason that Skipper wasn't yet as big or overpowering as the other two, which meant he could roughhouse with her without worrying about getting hurt.

Leyla was also big and strong for her age, enough that the younger siblings were wary of rough play with her, and she was one of the kids Hope's rules about control had to be drilled into hardest. Physical play was always how she showed affection and teased, wrestling, crowding, and pinning, all of it meant as a game and never meant to hurt. She learned early to keep it on the right side of play, which is why she almost never hurts anyone no matter how much she threatens them.

As she grew up, Leyla, along with Lisa and Tamara, looked up to her older sisters Violet and Laurel. Violet in particular, the prettiest of the sisters, was happy to teach the younger girls about hair, makeup and how to carry themselves with the same effortless confidence she has.

School

Leyla was somewhat of a prodigy in primary school, even among other metas who nearly always outperform regular students academically. She had learned to read before she turned two years of age and by the time she was five she had learned to speak four languages flawlessly. She aced every test she was given without ever studying for it, just from what she hears in class and all the books she reads. She has the habit of reading all her text books on the first day of school, capable of reading a 500 page textbook in minutes and memorizing it to the letter after one casual read.

The downside to her curiosity and reading enthusiasm is that she is usually very bored in class, listening to the teacher go over lessons she memorized weeks or months ago, at a speed that feels agonizingly slow to her. The part she does enjoy is when other students ask her to explain what they did not understand, and she is very happy to take her time and teach them. She will never say it, but it amazes her how dim witted most regular people are.

Highschool was no different. She joined her older sisters Tamara and Lisa after one year that felt much too long, being the oldest and largest girl in primary school had its drawbacks and now with her larger sisters with her she felt a lot better. Whenever she was not hanging out with Tamara and getting into trouble with her, one could find Leyla in the school library. It made her very happy the school had a very large collection of books.

She befriended the librarian, Mr. Thomson, who saw her go through large books as if she were reading pamphlets. He taught her that a good book is like a nice dessert, you want to take your time and enjoy it. He gave her a classical novel she had already red and sat down with her and went over it together. They talked about the subtext and things she had not paid attention to while memorizing it. She learned there is a difference between memorizing a story and understanding it.

POWERS AND ABILITIES

As a Meta Delta, Leyla has all the basic superhuman traits all Metas have:

Super Strength.

The ability for the muscles to exert a force far greater than humanly possible.

Super Speed.

The ability to move at speeds far beyond humanly possible. This ability not only accelerates the body movements, it also accelerates metabolism and thinking speed, generating a perception of time slowing down.

Extreme Agility

Extreme control of her muscles along with her flexibility allow her to perform acrobatics and gymnastics at levels far above human capabilitiy.

Extreme Flexibility

Capable of bending and contorting her body far superior than the average human.

Extreme Longevity.

Capable of having a lifespan of several centuries or even millennia.

Extreme Durability.

Possessing a physical durability and resilience allowing her to be immune to blunt force trauma, lacerations, and penetration. Her body is essentially immune to any man-made weapon. Only a stronger meta is capable of hurting her.

Extremely Keen Senses.

Superhuman levels of hearing, eyesight, sense of smell, touch, and taste.

Enhanced Intelligence and Photographic Memory

A severely increased level of processing information (IQ), with greater ability of reasoning and deduction. Also a near limitless memory capacity and near instantaneous perfect recall.
Note that a higher IQ does does not imply the character to be super smart, since other factors influence how bright the person is, including knowledge, experience, naiveté, innocence, and emotional maturity.

Enhanced Endurance and Libido

Her level of stamina is far greater than a regular person, allowing her to perform for many hours non-stop. Her enhanced Libido also makes her ver difficult to satisfy fully.

Resistance to Alcohol, Toxins, and Poisons.

She is incapable of becoming drunk and is immune to all known toxins, viruses, infections, and poisons. Alcohol doesn't impair her cognition or motor control; it only lowers restraint and inhibition, so she gets a light buzz but does not suffer the negative effects of being drunk.

Resistance to Temperature Extremes

Her body is unaffected by temperature extremes, both cold and hot.

Structural Integrity Field

The ability to form a small energy field around her body which lets whatever she is touching or at very close proximity to any part of her body to gain a portion of her durability.
This allows her to sit on regular chairs despite her considerable weight, and to lay on top of a sex partner without crushing him.

Anchoring

Has the ability to fix herself to the ground or whichever platform she stands on and avoid being moved unless she allows it. The power of her anchoring is directly proportional to her power level. Weaker people can't move her while stronger metas may break the anchor.
With this ability she can pull down things that could otherwise lift her weight. Coupled with her super strength and durability, she can tank collisions with trucks and trains that would otherwise push her off her feet.

Reproductive Control

Has the natural ability to control the flow of her reproductive system, capable to decide if and when ovulation takes place.

POTENTIAL PHYSICAL FEATS

These are not real events but calculations of what she is capable of if she used her power to it's limit:

Two-handed deadlift

Can lift 473,000 metric tons; equivalent to lifting two large cruise ships.

Punch force:

Can hit wit a force of 520,000 metric tons. The impact is strong enough to punch through the strongest reinforced armor.

A full-force punch that connects with nothing still kicks up a burst of displaced air, enough to stagger anyone standing right next to her and shatter glass within a few meters, fading to nothing within about ten meters.

A full-force punch landing directly on an unprotected person delivers enough force to compress the body at the point of impact to such a degree flesh and organs would heat up so violently it will vaporize the body and turn bone into a fine powder with a bright flash.

Kick force:

Can kick with a force of 1.42 million metric tons-force. Enough to kick through any solid object like it was made of water.

A full-force kick on an unprotected person ionizes every molecule in the body, instantly converting them to plasma which bursts in a bright flash of light.

High Jump:

A full power jump from sea-level can reach a height of 1574 km, three times farther than the International Space Station's own orbital altitude.

The force applied to the pavement for such jump releases about 3.3 tons TNT-equivalent energy, a third of the explosive energy of the largest non-nuclear bomb ever built. The sidewalk slab underfoot explodes under her paws leaving a crater twenty meters across.

Anyone standing within about fourty meters is instantly killed by the explosive force, and people will be thrown off their feet up to two city blocks, and the ground shake would be felt in a two kilometer radius.

Full Sprint

Can reach a speed of 5,55 m/s (19,990 km/h, Mach 16.19), several times faster than the X-15 rocket plane, the fastest crewed aircraft ever flown.

Running at that speed through a city, a continuous, violent shock front runs the length of her route the entire time she's at speed. Her wake's dynamic pressure works out to roughly 19 megapascals, powerful enough to pulverize reinforced concrete and the air in front her is compressed so violently it hits up near to the temperature of the sun, hot enough to instantly incinerate anyone 19 meters away. Anyone caught directly in her wake would have no time to react before the shockwave and heat disintegrate them, with lethal effects up to 200 meters, and mild injuries up to 650 meters. The sonic boom would be heard through the entire city.
